Our History

1966

Charlie & Margaret Beck founded Beck Oil Company in Thomasville, NC. With just one delivery truck, Charlie makes trips to the Greensboro tank farm while Margaret manages office duties.

1999

Charlie faces some health issues requiring Susan Beck to take over office duties and grandson Greg Harris to become the delivery driver. Greg acquires Lake Oil Co of Thomasville and merges it with Beck Oil Co, marking the birth of Beck Oil!

2001

Charlie's health improves, and he returns to work. The company invests in a tractor-trailer for Greg to haul fuel from Greensboro, ensuring ample supply and competitive pricing.

2004

Beck Oil Co expands further by acquiring accounts from City Ice & Fuel Co of Thomasville, welcoming longtime driver Sam Kindley into the family.

2010

Charlie, at the age of 75, decides not to renew his CDL license, opting to spend more time with his great-granddaughters, Lily and Grace.

2016

Greg is invited to join Associated Petroleum Carriers in Spartanburg, SC, and Beck Oil & Transport LLC is established. The company begins transporting fuels, ethanol, and lubricants across the East Coast.

In present times, with a dedicated team of seven full-time drivers and nine transports, Beck Oil & Transport LLC continues to uphold the values instilled by Charlie Beck. Known for quality fuels and service, the company remains committed to putting the needs of customers first, ensuring a bright future with humility and optimism.
